According to their Facebook page, KKK stands for Kainan sa Kalye Kanluran (known as KKK Food Revolution).  Today, we had the chance to dine in and have some authentic Filipino cuisine (with a twist) here at SM Megamall.

We were given a free appetizer while we wait.

Kanin sa KKK

A P150 rice plate good for 2-3 persons, rich in sauteed in pork liempo and egg.  This alone can fill you up in a hurry. Yummy!

Pancit Lucban

A P140 plate good for 2 persons. This is served with a different sauce, chicharon & calamansi. The pancit prepared at Lucban, Quezon is wrapped on banana leaf & served with vinegar.

Pinakbet ng KKK

A P155 dish good for 2-3 persons, served with chicharon.

Krispy Bangus Belly sa Manggang Hinog Sarsa

Never, have I eaten a bangus belly or any meal with mango puree… I loved it!

You will feel at home with the dining area. KKK is truly an authentic Filipino resto.

KKK Pinoy Food Revolution does not have a website, however, you may check out the list of other branches, latest news and updates by liking their Facebook here.

Vikings is defined by Merriam & Webster as a group of Scandinavian people who attacked the coasts of Europe in the 8th to 10th centuries A.D., today, they invaded the hearts of many Filipinos and opened a luxury-buffet restaurant here in Manila. They offer Filipino & International cuisine. Along with my dad & MJ of The Safari Street, this is where we spent our 2nd anniversary.

A wide variety to select from – appetizers to fish & other seafood are guaranteed fresh,  lamb & other beef cooked on your choosing (ex. rare, medium rare, well done), a whole section of Asian/Japanese cuisine, thin crust pizza’s, drooling desserts, premium beers, coffee, cold drinks such as four seasons, mango and other fruit juices (everything is free flowing!) – to name a few!

* The cuisine was great! I love eating here, so many selections to choose from and the buffet trays are always filled up! One of the best place to dine in with family and friends. Two thumbs up! (will surely return!) ^_^

The buffet area is indeed luxurious and the dining area is cozy and elegant! Too bad we had to leave early for work, wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the rest of the day :-/

Vikings (Luxury Buffet) is located at Bldg. B, By The Bay, Seaside Boulevard, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Philippines.

If you are planning to dine here, I strongly suggest that you call them a week ahead and reserve a seat at 846-3888, 846-4888, 846-5888, 0917-5653888 & 0923-7303888.

I have been dining in a lot at Chic-Boy for quite some time now, but never had an opportunity to post it here. Probably,  I needed to bring a good cam that will show how tasty and delicious their food choices are.

We went to Chic-Boy Las Pinas branch right across the village for our breakfast. A much better alternative (for me) than having it on nearby fast food chains…

After ordering at the counter, we were served with a complimentary soup while we wait.

The food arrived a few minutes later…

I ordered the Sinigang na Salmon (P55) and a cup of rice.

Diana ordered the CB5 (P99), Cebu Lechon Manok – Leg Part.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and ambiance at Chic-Boy. I don’t mind going back over and over again and try out their other menu choices.
